Welcome to Aveum Pre-Onboarding
START YOUR SEQUENCING TODAY. Genomic sequencing takes 2–6 weeks at most laboratories. Your VAN (issued in Step 3, about five minutes from now) is the only name the lab will ever see. Everything else in this process can be completed while your sequencing is underway. Do not wait until the end — book the lab first, finish onboarding while you wait.
This is a pre-onboarding area. You will: receive your VAN (Vault Allocation Number) with cryptographic acceptance, learn the vault through an interactive tutorial, review the 11 governing rules, locate a sequencing lab, select a protocol license, verify your endpoint, and print your legal documents. Nothing is due until GIS has been assigned to your vault. Real vault operations — GIS registration, genome upload, sub-vault activation, and transfers — happen inside a secure VPN environment, not on this website. Only one (1) VAN is issued per pre-onboarding. All sub-vaults and under-18 registrations occur inside the secure VPN port.
What Is the Aveum Family Vault?

Aveum Systems has built a deterministic, genomic-derived verification substrate — a forensic-grade identity layer that creates a unique cryptographic key for every person from their own biology. No name, no address, no photograph, no stored genomic data. The key is permanent, unforgeable, and cannot be lost or stolen.

Accept & Receive Your VAN
Cryptographic acceptance. Your browser generates a secure key — no personal data involved.
Only one (1) VAN is issued through this pre-onboarding process. All sub-vaults and under-18 registrations are handled inside the secure VPN port — not here.

Cryptographic Acceptance

When you accept, your browser generates a secure P-256 keypair locally. The public key is recorded with your VAN as proof of acceptance. The private key never leaves your device — you will use it to prove control of this VAN inside the secure port. This is real acceptance, not a drawn signature.

Vault Architecture
Source Wallet & Main Vault

Your institution's MPC workspace (Fireblocks or other approved provider) becomes the signing layer for your vault. The vault contract on Ethereum mainnet is cryptographically bound to your GIS (Genomic Identity Signature). The main vault holds all assets and controls outbound transfers to sub-vaults.

Sub-Vaults (up to 10)
  • SPOUSE — 50% distribution option available
  • TRUSTEE — 25% or 0% distribution option
  • OVER_18 — Adult heir, full control
  • UNDER_18 — Minor heir, held in escrow until 18th birthday. No source wallet until age 18.
Sub-Vault Lock Mode

The main vault holder can lock all sub-vaults — even with an active GIS and source wallet, no sub-vault can move assets in or out. Fill sub-vaults with desired allocations, then lock. Balances distribute per the liquidation provision if effected. Automatically unlocks at liquidation per smart contract. Requires GIS to lock or unlock.

Liquidation (12 months + 30 days)

If no authentication occurs for 12 months, a 30-day grace period begins. If no authentication during grace, liquidation triggers automatically. Assets are distributed per the rules in Step 6.

You Must Accept These Terms
11 Rules of the Family Vault

GIS Is Your Key
Your Genomic Identity Signature is the sole key to your vault. If you lose your GIS, you must file for a lost key and re-swab your genomic sequence. No exceptions.

3 Transfers / 12 Months
Hard contract limit. No more than 3 transfers from main vault to sub-vaults per 12-month period.

No Trading
No swaps, no DeFi, no bridges, no staking. The vault is for custody and inheritance, not speculation.

Zero-Knowledge Supplier
Aveum Systems holds no keys and no customer data. We cannot access your vault, your GIS, or your assets.

Liquidation 12mo + 30d
12 months of inactivity triggers a 30-day grace period. After grace, forced equal distribution to sub-vaults per liquidation provisions.

Sub-Vaults Require GIS
Each sub-vault holder must complete GIS verification. Minors via guardian GIS until age 18.

Not Flexible
The vault is intentionally rigid. This is a feature, not a bug. Generational trust requires immutability.

VAN Email Account
Encrypted email provisioned per VAN via third-party contractor (ProtonMail). Terminated on liquidation. Under-18 accounts auto-generated by main vault holder.

No Death Notices
We do not know who you are. Death certificates or notices accomplish nothing — the protocol governs itself. You and your heirs are subject to its operational protocols.

Late Payment & Default
If payment goes late more than 90 days after the primary term, notice of default is sent and Aveum reserves the right to initiate collection. If unpaid and no login occurs in 12 consecutive months + 30 day notice, the Primary Account is liquidated as defined herein.

60-Second Verification Window
GIS verification completes within a 60-second window that begins when the enclave issues your nonce — not when you start. The process takes about 5 seconds on any modern connection; it is not a race. The limit exists to shrink the on-chain exposure window (quantum-resistant policy). No exceptions, no extensions.

Labs Locator
Find a sequencing lab near you. Results should be returned by flash drive and stored securely after upload to the VAN-GIS Portal.
These links are provided as a courtesy. We are not recommending nor have we vetted any third-party laboratory. All cost, risk, and liability for your selection of lab to sequence your genome is your sole risk and cost. Aveum has nothing to do with sequencing.
What to Tell Your Lab (one page)
  • Subject name = VAN NUMBER ONLY. No name, no address, no date of birth on the file.
  • Format: VCF 4.2 compliant output
  • Scope: Chromosomes 1 and 22, targeted 30× coverage
  • Delivery: Flash drive (encrypted), handed to you directly
  • Retention: Lab must confirm deletion of residual data after delivery
  • Confirm first: Send the lab your LABPAK sample letter (Documents Centre, Step 10) BEFORE providing your sample kit

Nothing is due until GIS has been assigned to your vault. Selecting a license here reserves your preference. Payment in ETH is required only when your GIS key is issued inside the secure VPN environment. All vault contracts deploy on Ethereum mainnet — activation begins September 15, 2026, in VAN assignment order.

Fingerprint only. No raw IP address is ever stored by Aveum.
How Endpoint Verification Works

Your IP address is used once — in memory, for seconds — to compute a cryptographic endpoint fingerprint (keccak256(IP ‖ daily-salt ‖ date)). The fingerprint proves that a real, non-VPN endpoint accepted these terms at a specific time. The raw IP address is then discarded and is never written to any database. This preserves license enforceability while honoring our zero-PII architecture.

Print your legal documents. All are prefilled with your VAN and carry a tamper-evident hash stamp.

Institutional Activation
Final step. Your vault is activated through your institutional custody provider inside the secure VPN port.
MAINNET LAUNCH: SEPTEMBER 15, 2026. Ethereum mainnet vault activation begins on this date. Pre-onboarding completed now is queued in assignment order — your VAN reserves your position in the activation queue ahead of launch. Nothing is due until GIS has been assigned to your vault. Vault contracts deploy on Ethereum mainnet. Activation is handled through your institution's MPC workspace or direct institutional custody integration.
Pre-onboarding is complete. Your VPN credentials and bootstrap configuration are issued against your VAN + provisioning code — not your email. Set up your encrypted email with your VAN as username for notifications; it is not used as proof of identity. Inside the secure port you will register your VAN, prove control with your acceptance key, upload your genome sequence (VCF), and derive your GIS.

Secure Port Bootstrap
Your WireGuard configuration and one-time bootstrap are issued against VAN + provisioning code. The tunnel config and code together are your identity proof — no email verification dependency, no PII.

VAN Registration & Genome Upload
Inside the secure port: prove control of your VAN with your acceptance key, upload your LABPAK-compliant VCF, derive your GIS. All sub-vaults and under-18 registrations happen here.

GIS Issuance & Payment
Once your GIS is derived and assigned to your vault, payment is due in ETH from your institution's treasury wallet. The vault is now fully operational on Ethereum mainnet with all sub-vaults, transfer limits, and inheritance protocols active.

Ethereum mainnet vault activation begins. Pre-onboarding completed before this date is queued in assignment order — your VAN reserves your position.
